ROCK GYM BASICS
No experience necessary. You will be introduced to indoor rock climbing. Our staff will explain the fundamentals of the sport and its associated hazards. We provide the staff and equipment. You provide the desire to climb.

ROCK GYM 101
This lesson is designed to introduce newcomers to the exciting sport of indoor rock climbing. This two hour lesson covers knot tying, belaying, rope management skills, the use of technical equipment and climbing commands. Emphasis is placed on making climbing a safe and enjoyable activity. At the end of this class, the student will have the skills to climb and belay at Kendall Cliffs. Equipment provided.

NEW! ROCK GYM 101 for 2
Same great class as our Rock Gym 101 above, but for two people.  This is a great way for couples or friends to learn together.  Never worry about not having a belayer to climb with.  Both persons must be 16 or older.  Climbers under 18 must have a parent present or a notarized waiver (see FORMS section for waiver info).

LEAD CLIMBING 101
If your experience includes only top roping and bouldering, but you want that extra adrenaline rush, this is the course for you. The lesson will introduce the climber to leading sport routes. Topics covered include safe and efficient lead belaying, how to clip protection, lead climbing techniques and the art of falling safely.

FAMILY LESSONS
This lesson is designed to make climbing a family activity. Parents can learn to belay while the children climb. This introduction to indoor top-rope climbing includes belaying, commands, knot tying and equipment. This lesson provides parents with the skills needed to belay for their children or climb on their own. Minimum one parent and one child.
Reservations are required
COST: $40.00 non-refundable fee for up to two parents and two children of the same family  (15 & Under)  & $15.00 for each additional child must be paid at the time of reservation

TECHNIQUE CLASS
Learn how to move on rock, footwork, problem solving.
Reservations are required
COST: $40.00/hr.  First hour must be paid at the time the reservation is made.  This is a non-refundable payment.

PERSONAL INSTRUCTION
Our expert staff will personally assist and help you focus on targeted areas of climbing disciplines.
